Dr. Moses Shin completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University in Seoul, South Korea. He worked as a researcher with Samsung Electronics for two years before coming to the US in 2001 to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Southern California. Dr. Shin moved to Ann Arbor in 2003 and enrolled in the Ph.D program in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan. In his second year in the program, however, he decided to switch to dentistry because he realized how much he loves helping people. He attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and graduated with a DMD degree.
Dr. Shin devotes a lot of time and effort to continuing his education and keeping up to date on the latest in dental technologies and procedures. He is a warm-hearted individual who loves what he is doing and treats his patients like they were his own family.
Dr. Shin lives in Frisco with wife, Grace Yang, Ph.D. and their daughter, Loc Lily. He is very good at classical singing and plays several instruments. Dr. Shin is an avid golfer and loves to play tennis.
Dr. Shin has a steady hand and performs every aspect of dentistry including complicated procedures such as molar root canal therapy, implant dentistry and wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Shin also offers sedation dentistry to make his patients at ease during their procedures. He is also skilled at cosmetic dentistry procedures and is very skilled in smile makeovers. Armed with knowledge, confidence, compassion, and experience, Dr. Shin looks forward to helping his patients with healthy mouths and beautiful smiles.
